Who builds this.
Jobsistant is built by Yatharth Dixit, a software engineer based in Bengaluru, India. Before writing a line of Jobsistant, he applied to over 500 jobs across Workday, Greenhouse, Lever, Ashby, Taleo, and a long tail of custom forms. The same questions, the same re-entry, the same resume parser scrambling his carefully formatted experience — every single time.
The tool he wished existed did not. So he built it. Jobsistant is the result: an autofill extension that fills from your own answers, never invents a fact, and never presses submit for you. Jobsistant is currently in early access and runs in Chrome, Edge, Firefox, Brave and Opera on desktop, installed from the Chrome Web Store, Microsoft Edge Add-ons or Firefox Add-ons. He tells that story and demonstrates the product in an 11-minute video on YouTube.

Why this site exists.
Application advice is most useful when it helps with the field or decision in front of you. Our guides aim to provide concrete examples, explain platform differences and make the next action clear.
Content draws on our own testing, linked vendor documentation and editorial guidance, and we label which is which. Citing a platform's documentation is not the same as testing every configuration of it, and product walkthroughs use sample candidate details.
Editorial rules.
- Identify the evidence. Distinguish our own tests from vendor documentation and planning suggestions. Do not present an illustration as a completed test or a survey as a universal hiring rule.
- Show the data, name the sample. When we publish numbers, we say how many people, how many applications, and what the limits are. Small samples are labeled as such.
- No invented claims about competitors. We describe what tools do based on their docs, listings, or our own testing. We do not score tools we have not tested under a defined protocol.
- Disclosure where there is a commercial interest. We make Jobsistant. When a guide could steer you toward it, we say so openly rather than pretending neutrality.
- Dates are visible and honest. Every page shows when it was last reviewed. Application portals change; stale guides are worse than no guide.
- No auto-apply framing, anywhere. Jobsistant is reviewed autofill. Our content reflects that distinction consistently, because the confusion between autofill and auto-apply is the most common complaint in this category.
How we test.
The 13 October 2026 release verification for version 1.0.3 recorded 2,699 passing automated tests, including 609 extension tests, and 9 product safety gates covering rules such as never submitting and never filling protected fields. The report also recorded 90 skipped tests; they are not counted as passes. These are engineering checks, separate from measurements on real application forms.
Our field notes come from private testing with real application forms. We count fields per application, measure how many are left for manual entry, and note where parsers fail and why. Every published round names its sample: Round 1 (26 August–3 September 2026) covered 40 applications by 6 testers on an early build, the PDF vs. DOCX test (September 2026) parsed 10 controlled resume files, and the application-form census (October 2026) dissects 10 public forms across 5 systems. A sample describes what we observed, not how every applicant, employer or application system behaves.
As Jobsistant grows, the testing pool grows with it. Future research will expand the sample and the portal coverage, and every update will be dated and documented.
