Who builds this.
Jobsistant is built by Yatharth Dixit, a software engineer based in Bengaluru, India. Before writing a line of Jobsistant, he applied to over 500 jobs across Workday, Greenhouse, Lever, Ashby, Taleo, and a long tail of custom forms. The same questions, the same re-entry, the same resume parser scrambling his carefully formatted experience — every single time.
The tool he wished existed did not. So he built it. Jobsistant is the result: an autofill extension that fills from your own answers, never invents a fact, and never presses submit for you.

Why this site exists.
Most job-application advice is generic, written by people who have not recently applied to 100 Workday roles in a month. Most autofill reviews are thin affiliate pages that have never tested the tool against a real form. Most answer guides tell you to “be yourself” without showing you what a good answer actually looks like in the field you are staring at.
This site is the opposite. Every guide is written from first-hand experience with the specific portal, form, or question it covers. Where we have data, we show it and say how we got it. Where we do not, we say that too.
Editorial rules.
- First-hand over second-hand. If we have not used the portal, tool, or field type ourselves, we say so or we do not write about it.
- Show the data, name the sample. When we publish numbers, we say how many people, how many applications, and what the limits are. Small samples are labeled as such.
- No invented claims about competitors. We describe what tools do based on their docs, listings, or our own testing. We do not score tools we have not tested under a defined protocol.
- Disclosure where there is a commercial interest. We make Jobsistant. When a guide could steer you toward it, we say so openly rather than pretending neutrality.
- Dates are visible and honest. Every page shows when it was last reviewed. Application portals change; stale guides are worse than no guide.
- No auto-apply framing, anywhere. Jobsistant is reviewed autofill. Our content reflects that distinction consistently, because the confusion between autofill and auto-apply is the most common complaint in this category.
How we test.
Our field notes come from private testing with real application forms. We count fields per application, measure how many are left for manual entry, and note where parsers fail and why. The sample is small (6 people, 40 applications in our first round) and we label it as such — it is enough to confirm the direction of widely-reported complaints, not to publish industry benchmarks.
As Jobsistant grows, the testing pool grows with it. Future research will expand the sample and the portal coverage, and every update will be dated and documented.
