Cookie Policy
Last updated: 22 September 2026
Anonymous, cookie-free visit counting runs on this website and can be turned off below. Optional analytics stay off unless you choose to enable them. There is no advertising, retargeting or cross-site profiling.
1. How your preference is stored
Your response to the consent banner is recorded in your browser’s local storage under the key jobsistant-consent, as the single value “granted” or “denied”. No cookie is set for this purpose. The value remains on your device, is not transmitted to us, and is removed if you clear site data.
2. Anonymous audience measurement
Umami measures aggregate reach on this website — visits, pages viewed, referring sites and campaign (UTM) parameters on links we control. It sets no cookies and records no account or user identifiers: nothing it collects can name or single out an individual visitor. Your IP address is used transiently to derive an approximate country, region and city, and is not stored. Only page paths and a short allowlist of campaign parameters are recorded from URLs; everything else is stripped before anything is sent. Do Not Track and Global Privacy Control are honored.
This measurement is always on. You can turn it off at any time — the switch takes effect immediately and is remembered by this browser under the local-storage key umami.disabled. Turning it off stops all Umami collection on this site.
3. Optional analytics — off unless you enable them
These are disabled by default. If you choose Continue in the consent banner, Google Analytics, Microsoft Clarity and a consent-gated first-party page-view signal are enabled. If you decline, their scripts are not inserted and the first-party signal is not sent, on that visit or later visits unless you change your choice.
- Google Analytics (
_ga,_ga_*) — measurement of which pages are read and which sources refer visitors. Retained for up to 24 months. IP addresses are anonymised. - Microsoft Clarity (
_clck,_clsk) — aggregate heatmaps and session replay used to identify points of confusion in the interface. Text entered into form fields is masked by default and is not recorded. Retained for up to 12 months. - First-party page-view signal (
__svid, up to one year;__ssid, up to 30 minutes) — when analytics is enabled, our API sends Google Analytics the page URL and title, referring page, approximate device dimensions, IP address, user agent and language. It does not write this information to the Jobsistant product database. Do Not Track and Global Privacy Control signals are honored.
4. What is not used
This website sets no advertising cookies, no retargeting pixels and no social network trackers. It does not participate in cross-site profiling and does not share data with data brokers.
5. The demonstration on the home page
The interactive application demonstration on the home page stores nothing. Anything you enter into the field it leaves for you is held in your browser’s memory for the duration of your visit and is discarded when the tab is closed. It is never transmitted to us. The product remembers; the demonstration deliberately does not.
6. Changing your preference
to change your choice about optional analytics in either direction at any time, and use the switch in section 2 to control anonymous measurement. You may also clear cookies for this site in your browser, or rely on your browser’s anti-tracking controls; a declined preference is honoured regardless.
The use made of the data these services produce is described in the privacy policy. Enquiries may be directed to [email protected].
